I am using Intel Core 2 duo processor. My question is, whenever i run my application i would like to know whether my software is using both the processors or a single processor. How do i know it? Is there any way to see that? If it is using single processor, how to make use of both the processors? Please help me out. I need this to improve my software performance.

First, that link has nothing to do with the issue you've presented.

That page is referring PCs with dual-core processors that are being managed by some third-party software on windows xp sp1.

Also, you don't decide how many cores the software uses. The software does.

The first "s" in that hyperlink of aphanri's doesn't link to the MS site the rest of it does. I don't see where to report bot activity, so if a Moderator checks this thread they will see the switched hyperlink method being used.
