Window Explorer Error-not internate explorer

    Hey can someone please help me with this problem. Everytime i turn on my computer this happen "Window explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" before i even click on any thing. My window is window XP. Also, Dr.Watson Debugger is also error. Any advice, please comment.
    The start menu doesnot work either, when the message pop up say that "window explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" everything seem to freeze.

    you may have a virus by the sounds of it have u been able to boot up in safe mode. Try that and try running the program smitfraudfix it kills any extra bad processes that the computer mayb running u can find the program in my software watch list on my profile page.

    Keep me posted on your progress.

    I able to boot in safe mode, but the window explorer still pop up and then Dr. Watson pop up too. I couldn't get to start mrnu before it freeze. And if I'm try to run task mangerment it start pop up say The Task Managerment is error. Any suggestion?

    I think that if your system even freezes in safe mode your best bet is to reinstall windows and start again, however there is one more thing you can try and that is. When the system boots up and before you get into windows press F8 and get the start up menu and choose "Last known good configuration" see if that fixes the problem other wise you may just need to reinstall windows.

    ok when I try that the same thing happen. the window pop up and freeze. The only thing i can do is go into the internate. If i open start menu, the Window Explorer came up and freeze.
    What happen if I reinstall it, will all of my stuff will get deleted?

    ok thank. 1 morething, every time i turn on my computer i had to click arrow on keyboarded inorder to log into my computers. The message like this:
    window XP or Window XP Setup and i got about 2 sec to click or it would go to window setup automatic. When it go to Window XP setup it told me to reinstall System 32. Any idea to fix.

    To reinstall system 32 which is a system directory on your computer C drive u are better off just reinstalling windows from scratch.

    How do you installed it? Can you download the window update from microsoft and installed it? Cause i have Window explorer SP2 and i want to update to SP3, can you tell me how to do that? Will that fix the problem.
