windows 7 stopped updating

i have windows 7 and up til now it was working great,but ive noticed it hasnt updated via windows update for the past 8 days.i try it manually but it says no important updates available,but i think its strange cos it used to update itself nearly everday.anybody else had the same thing,feedback would be appreciated.

 

usualy when you have all the updates on your computer
the next 1 happens around once a month
though you may get the odd 1 here and there

just make sure auto update is on your comp
or you could change it to "notify when updates are ready to be instaled" or similarjust so you know it is still updating
