windows is very slow after i connect to internet

ok i just reformatted my computer. it has xp and when i connect to the internet it takes like 15 secs to catch up and its like it has a lag and also i play wow can i have a lag bad while in big cities. i have ran a few like cleaners and defraged it antivirus scan and spyware cleaner too and still running slow. i have also took the computer apart and dusted it but no luck any help with be helpful

 

perhaph a bit more ram may speed your comp up!!

 

i have 2 gb of memory

 

you would really want a bit more if its a computer your using
look around for some generic ram usually half the price

 

it was never a problem before while gaming and surfing the net

 

things build up on your ram after a while
but then i could be mistaken!

 

Try enabling/expanding the virtual memory of your system...
