windows wont boot

    just resently changed my pc config to acpi goes past the post then comes up withe the xp loading screen then just stays theyre the blue bar is moving but just wont go past that its been there for like 1h now i fought it could just be loading extrememly slow but nuffink now will update this later

    pc config i havbe is a asus mobo with a dual core 2 and 2gb ram

    Tap f8 after you turn your pc on until it shows you a list of options, choose safe mode and see if it gets all the way into safe mode. If so, boot up to safe mode with networking, download your motherboard chipset drivers again and reinstall, then try the reboot to normal windows and check.

    When you say you changed your pc config to acpi, how did you do that? With a setting or by installing something?
