Hi, My pc is infected and I've been browsing on how to remove it and I was able to remove most of it. However, my pc is still infect with something else and i can't figure out what it is. Sounds like the same thing I had on my computer. It wouldn't even let me go into safe mode to do anything.I ended up reformatting and doing a clean install to get rid of it. I got a similar virus (a police virus over here in europe) and I ended up just running system restore from safe mode and it seems to be gone (but it you cannot access safe mode than reformatting may be the way to go)
another good virus scanner is the kaspersky virus removal tool. it weighs in around 115MB and is updated to new probably every week or so. it has some options and works well in removing virii.
run hijack this again and check fix on the following.
