My wife got this virus on my computer and it will not let me do anything. I tried to download malwarebytes and it won't let me install it. I tried to go into safe mode and it won't let me do that. i tried to open task MGR and also tried to roll my computer back to a date before it was infected and it stops me from doing anything. I am sorry but i am not great with computer, I'm not new but I don't know how to remove things like this. Could someone who is smarter than me please help me, i have a ton of stuff saved on this computer and i really, really don't want to lose it all to this virus with a re-install/format job. thank you for your time and help. It has a pop up window named Spyware Protection...designed by protect. It ask for $60.00 which i know is a scam. I hate this crap and wish the people who made things like this would DIAF.
