Hi all,
I'm back here after a long time :)
Anyways, I got a problem... This morning I tried to access my photos on windows explorer using my girlfriend's computer and all the thumbnails were watermarked with a blue crab like image... [Check the screen-shot out]
I'm a bit worried because I suspect this could be due to a virus... However, a full system scan using latest Norton came clean... :(
If any of you experts out there know or can guess the cause of this mysterious blue crab... please let me know...
Thanks a bunch

Incomplete information.
"I tried to access my photos on windows explorer . . . "
Where were the photos, on your camera? On her computer? On a flash drive?
Does the actual photo have the blue mark or just the thumbnail?
If you take a picture to another computer do you have the same problem?
Did you try another program that creates thumbnails to see if the image is on the photo or created by the imaging program?

i suspect the crab is part of an imaging capture program, may even be an addon in IE or FF or a default image viewer icon

Scorp is probably right, it may be the default viewer.
Right click the thumbnail, click 'open with' and change the viewer.
See if that's it.....

I don't have access to that computer anymore and I was just curious to know what caused this... If anyone know what program might have caused this just let me know... Just curious...
Btw, Thanks a lot for the replies... Cheers!!!
Edit: the photos were from the camera memory card, I still have to check whether they are unharmed...

They make computer components, I recognise it because my sound card is realtek. Hope this gets rid of some of the mystery.
