I want to uninstall AVG trial version.
I already tried both ways of using the installer and using the uninstall option and the add/remove programs.

When I try to uninstall it it gives me an error the details are

    Local machine: installation failed
    Installation:
Error:Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\\Windows: creating regsitry key...
    Access is denied

I have no idea what this means but I need to uninstall it.

It has what is called a "hunter mode" if you are able to place it on the program you want to delete...it will do it.You must orient yourself as what it can do. I've been in a situation where the program's uninstaller stops then I exit program's uninstaller and revo will continue to clean up all the way to the registry.(It is excellent for cleaning up everything) I hope this helps.

I should mention that I am using the free edition... If you purchase the Pro edition for $19.62 it definitly has force uninstall but I've managed so far with the free edition.
