I want to know how to stop my daughter accidentally accessing any adult websites or sites popping up. (as she has used some 'free games' sites, which Im a bit wary of). We already have seperate Windows user logins , but any setting via IE seems to work for all users. I would prefer to run some (free or cheap) software that can control access based on the user. If not then I guess Daddy will have to switch it off when necessary ;-) Any recomendations / solutions welcome. Thanks.
get firefox create a second user profile then intall this it should allow you to prevent your daughter from signing in without you knowing as you should be able set the password, if you need to know how to set up a firefox profile hit the windows key"between ctrl and alt" and R follow the guide and then once all is installed and the password is set upinstall this for added benefit i would check out this list of Firefox addon's here and one last thing, Web of trust happy surfing edit: fixed link sorry another firefox addon was screwing up the text :S
