Does a web browser/search engine like this exist?

I recently saw the movie "Surrogates," and in it, there's this thing on the computers that looks like it's a combination of a search engine and a web browser.

I have some pics, but a warning:

These pictures contain minor spoilers to the movie, so don't look at them if you don't want to spoil the movie even slightly.

Here's a detailed description, especially for those who haven't seen the movie and don't want to spoil it:
-Search bar is rounded (not sharp corners) and small and at very top-left of screen
-Next to it, in underlined text, are three menu items: Bookmark, Tag, Archive
-The text search results appear in a column to the left of the screen (taking 1/3rd of the screen vertically, and place right below the search bar); here, the name of the site/page/article appears, along with a small description, and instead of just clicking the title (like in Google), you can even click part of the description to show the entire page in the right column (and then the selected title appears in a highlighted rounded box)
-The actual website/page/article appears wholly in a column to the right of the screen (taking the other 2/3rd of the screen vertically, and at the same level as the text search results bar); here, there is nothing but the actual site/page/article, along with two arrows on both sides of the box that let you go up or down in search results (instead of going up/down or clicking search results in the left column)
-There is also a small box/row at the bottom of the page which seems to have detailed information about the page
-In that same small box/row, there are what appear to be back/forward buttons on opposite ends of the box

...so, does such a web browser/search engine exist (or a modification for a current browser to make it look similar)? Is there one even closely like it? Or maybe is there somebody else who has seen the movie and is now programming/creating such a web browser/search engine?

Although I haven't seen anything like this, the use of frames in a search engine is a good idea, something to look into for sure.

And Surrogates was a good movie :D
