When I connect my PC to my TV and set it to 1080p resolution, there is always a black border around. No matter what resolution I set it to. Previously, I used "Catalyst Control Centre" and it had a resizing tool to scale the screen (75% before and just brought it up to 100%). Now, however the catalyst centre will no longer start, at all. I click it and it loads for a second then stops with no error message. Is there another program which will help me scale the image on my monitor
What has been installed recently including updating CC or a microsoft update is what it sounds like has happened & is causing a conflict,you could try deleting the CC & running ccleaner to clean registry then reboot,afer that use the original install disc for the graphic card & see if issue is still there,if no go & if i was in your shoes i'd start deleting the .NET Framework software & recently installed software until CC came back,yep it's time consuming & a real pain coz it may not work either in which case i'd loose patience & reformat only this time i'd use macrium reflect or some other imaging software & start making image files of C drive
