you know when you "export bookmarks" in firefox. Well u title it what you want then save it on c drive somewhere in my documents. You can then burn that small file on to a dvd -r or cd-r. Then you can open the file and it will display a page with everything in your bookmarks and you can click to open those links. how can it be that easy where u can export your emails (with the attachments) and save those in it's entirety as links and can burn them on disc and everyone of them will stay in tact no matter how many you have or how many attachments there are? i am using xp yahoo email
You are trying to compare apples and oranges. Bookmarks use a srandard format (HTML) which is highly transsportable and compatible between applications. E-mail, OTOH, is in a format that is proprietary to it's application. Yahoo e-mail is web-based and depends on the servers at Yahoo for format and readbility. You could try something like this: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/poparchive-02.html but it may not keep attachments and links intact.
If you have yahoo email why bother downloading them, create a folder when logged in call it what you want & use the move button to place them there, the add folder button is in pane below contacts separator,by the way outlook can be set to leave copy on server so when you download an email it will stay in yahoo inbox
