   how do you get VirtualDubX64 to work or add codecs to the original to the direct folder its run in

   The 64 bit version requires 64 bit codecs - and the plugins for the 32 bit version don't work with it.
   
   VirtualDub uses VFW codecs - e.g. XviD for video and Lame MP3 for audio compression.
