hi i am trying to reinstall xp on an msi netbook, after spending some time with methods from here, there and everywhere and no joy i came up with my own idea of mounting an xp.iso on to a usb flash.sounds good to me lol.
is this the way to go or am i barking up the wrong tree,i did try other methods of using a bootable flash but i couldn't get the xp info to go on to the stick, this could be because it was the wrong format or the wrong info but i couldn't find any clear info on how to do this.

    thanks in advance

It wasn't my netbook. And the OS had been destroyed. :)

I would never buy a netbook personally. No need for one.
