nocd to install epson printer

    i have a epson stylus dx5000 with no software disc, i have found the right driver and extracted it to my laptop, but it will not print, device manager is showing yellow exclamation mark, when i click on the properties its saying no software found, please can someone help me with this problem, the scanner part on the printer has gone in ok, thankyou
