Tonight i was doing a re write on a few paragraphs that i have been working on for my thesis. My computer crashed and i lost my files (being the silly person i am, i have not backed anything up in over a day). I managed to find the files but they are encrypted in a .txt file. when i right click on the files there are no options which will allow me to decrypt the files. I also tried saving it in different formats and re opening it, as well as running it through all the filters that microsoft word offers.

I really need some help. Is there anyways of recovering these files
