I'm not sure what has caused this but the file names dissapear when any folder is set to thumbnail view. I understand that holding shift toggles it on and off but everytime I toggle the names on and then close the folder it just reverts back to no names again. It's driving me mad, so please someone help me figure out what is going on.
your computer maybe infected....... I ahve a friend once who have that save problem.... The virus may cause you folder setting to change..... try downloading combofix... and for Smart Virus Remover..... its not the virus it removes but it restores your computer settings at best... and its not a complete anti-virus...
