Every time I try to run a game it will minimize to the tray instantly. When I try to bring it back up it will minimize again. I'm not really sure what I did. I may have done something wrong while installing something. I'm not to sure that's why I'm here.

btw I don't think its a hardware issue because I have been able to run the games perfectly.

    I have
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9000 @ 2.00GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB
    4GB dual channel DDR3

sounds like you may have installed something that is conflicting.

Possibly try exiting some unneeded things in the system tray by right clicking on them and exiting ( to try and identify the culprit), have you installed any dodgy screen savers or wallpaper managers.

Another option is to type msconfig in run box xp or start\search in vista and go to start up folder, try unchecking some of the unimportant stuff that is starting one at a time and restarting to help find the culprit (hover your mouse over the command entries and google the exe if unsure). re enable if not the culprit.

Ok first Thank you so much
I'm pretty sure it was Microsoft office that caused the issue, but now my games play
