Recovery Partition How do I recover this?

    if i get a recovery disc for gateway gt5014, would it repair my deleted Recovery Partition?

    some how Window Vista deleted it and then it crashed but when I put my restore disc that came with my computer, it doesn't restore anything just the OS.

    If the partition was deleted you lost all your data. The recovery CD only restores the OS back to factory setting.
