   adobe illustrator cs5 stopped working keeps asking for serial number enter serial number nothing happens. any segestions!

   You could try either of these actions. Your choice of which is first.
   
   1. Uninstall the program. Clean registry with ccleaner. Reinstall program with serial.
   
   2. Contact Adobe for help.
