Hello, i am just wondering about what speeds i will get streaming my desktop to my laptop. Let me explain the situation.
I run a graphic and web design company and for the past year, my laptop (with pretty good specs) has been able to cope with my demand, but im at the point where i need more firepower. Iv just purchased this pc from here. I am also looking to purchase a new wireless router, this one from here. If i have my desktop connected via ethernet to my new router, with wake on lan enable, should i be able to stream it to my laptop and have reasonable speeds. My laptop has a N-wlan wireless card built in just to note.
Im thinking if i got some software like Anyplace Control it will be very useful. Think about it, i will be able to leave my pc turned off downstairs, and when i want to start working upstairs with my laptop i could turn on my pc and control it as if i was sat infront. Will this new N standard be able to handle Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc? Thanks in advance, Danny.
