.VAC file - Play or Convert

This discussion thread has 4 messages.

Ive scoured the internet looking for a way to either play or convert some .VAC files. My friend needs to transcribe audio recordings from a correctional institution and the disc contains .VAC files. VLC, which plays basically everything, doesnt work and Ive found no audio conversion software that says it supports that file extension.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks

I did some searching and found the following:

http://file.downloadatoz.com/vac-file-extension/

or

http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/vac

Its a specific software file type you may need to get that program and then convert it within that program.

Just wanted to add you may also want to try free studio i have recently used this for some audio and video conversions and have found it very reliable
