I use vlc program to watch .avi files When i skip the section slike click on the bar to skip some of the movie the screen is very fuzzy and sometimes takes awhile to go back to normal. Is somthing wrong with vlc or is my video card going bad? Windows 7 64bit ati raedon 5750 1 gig video memory 128bit ddr5 video card.
Might be VLC; I have noticed a lot of little glitches in VLC. I would try a few different AVI files, and try them with both the latest version of VLC, and one a couple versions old...if they all make the screen fuzzy, it is probably your card.
It doesnt do it on every avi file just some and some files if i do skip it vlc shuts down. But windows media player works just fine. My friend has vlc and doesnt have this problem.
Lol I think this is kind of funny. Its a question if my video card is going bad OR if the program it self is going bad. Im pretty sure a video card is hardware.
videocard is hardware but your problem is software as you say some programs like windows media player has no problem with card.
