Hi Guys, When i'm on Windows Live Messenger and i use webcam with someone both of our webcams freeze. They work for afew seconds then freeze for afew seconds then work again and it carries on like this for as long as we are on cam.

I've tried it when my singal strength has been full & i've even tried it with an ethernet cable plugged in! Still the same.

When my friend cammed from his laptop to his home comp they worked fine without any issues so the problem must be on my side & i have no idea how to solve it. This has been going on for about 2 months now, before then i never had any problems with it so i dont know where its gone wrong.

    Any help would be appreciated.

it could be a few things, lagging, time of day your talking, ect...
ask your provider to do a test on your line!
what else do you be running on comp at the same time, other applications could be slowing it down aswell,

When i'm using Windows Live Messenger its usually the only thing running. It happens everytime i cam so it doesnt matter what time of day it is. When someone is typing there is a slight delay before i recieve the message. I'll ask my internet provider to test my connection.

it would be also a good idea to test what is running on your computer in the backround aswell,
though im unsure if that would make a differance

EDIT you do have all the latest updates for your 'cam' ect...
