Hi there, i've downloaded a film by torrent that came in 30 rar folders, i was assuming that i have to unzip all the folders til i end up with the whole film, but all i did was unzip the first folder and it gave me the whole film and plays fine, is it that unziping the first folder chains with all the other folders? or is there a catch to it? plz help me out as im mega confused here :)

When you double click on one of those parts(rar files) and select "Extract To", it automatically searches and calls for the rest of the parts and unrars them as part of one single file. There is no magic, no trick, is the way it works.

Main reason it was packed in .rar is smaller chunks are easier to up0load & download & less likely to get corrupted than 1 large file

that would be useful for me for sorting files that like exceed 4GB for when i place them onto a fat32 drive

Unless you have a player that can play a video from rar files(XBMC), then the fat32 drive would still be only for storage, you wouldn't be able to unpack it there, obviously.

As scorpNZ stated, if one chunk of the download/upload is corrupted, is easier to replace that rather than the entire file.

yeah i mean that it would be useful to make files that excede 4GB be put into smaller pieses so i can place them onto a fat32 disk to transfer it to an other computer
