WMP only plays background audio

#1 04 Aug 2010 @ 0:20
Hey, i have the most current version of Windows Media Player, since I have had this computer DVDs and MKVs I play usually only playback the background track, like pointless convos and mumbling and even some echoes from the main track. The only codecs I have added was the CCCP pack but I have never had a problem like this with it before. Its gotta be some sort of codec issue or ridiculous setting, any ideas where to even start?
