WMP only plays background audio

Hey, i have the most current version of Windows Media Player, since I have had this computer DVDs and MKVs I play usually only playback the background track, like pointless convos and mumbling and even some echoes from the main track. The only codecs I have added was the CCCP pack but I have never had a problem like this with it before. Its gotta be some sort of codec issue or ridiculous setting, any ideas where to even start?

Just tried the Klite codec and still no luck, its so wierd.
