I have made a copy of a PC Game for my nephew. I can not get the game to shrink to below 4.5gb so I cant burn it for him to take home and install. Would it be a good idea to run it through winrar to shrink the size -> burn it to dvd -> take home and unpack winrar to hard disc -> extract -> mount -> install. Is this going to work? Ive never tried to burn a winrar file.....or unpack one from a disc. Dont even know if its possible?
It is possible to Winrar the entire game and place it in a DVD, Extract it on another computer and run it. What I would recomend is that you open up the ISO you have ceated and delete any unneeded files, i.e. language files, etc. This may reduce the size enough that you can get the ISO onto a DVD in the origianl format.
