Hello and greetings. I'm quite newbie in here english side of the sites.. But I hope if here is someone to help solve my problems, i would greet for that:)

To the problem. I bought the Fable few years ago, and when I bought it I were running on XP. Since the years passed by and I installed a Windows 7, I cannot longer play the game.
I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 32Bit, and I've tried an compatibility modes from XP's Service Pack 1 to Vista's Service Pack 1. I can get the game running for awhile, but then it crashes back to the desktop.

If this problem can be solved somehow I would be very glad.

Apologies about my bad english, but hope thou can understand something, and thanks for anyone if this problem can be solved.

And if someone needs, here's my PC's specs: AMD Phenom II X3 720BE @ 3.4Ghz, 2Gb RAM, PALIT GeForce 260GTX sp216. So I guess that my rig should handle the game well..
More about my computer can be found from my profile, but it's in Finnish. But the specifications should be recognized somewhat..

    Hey Kooma,

    Try the following:

Go to the shortcut of the game, and go to properties. Then go to 'Compatibility'.
There, under 'Settings' you'll see 'Disable visual themes' and 'Disable desktop composition'. Tick them both.

Here's what it should look like:
