In my town there is an engine shop that has an old car in the title *might be a different year, but the only real difference between years is the tail lights* above. Condition of the engine and other parts aren't known right now, but the body is in pretty good shape. Only concern is that any parts or trims to the car would be expensive to replace.
Should I take a chance on this old beauty?

I'd say, go for it! But, make sure that you buy the extended warranty, too. :)

make sure the timing chain has been replaced, and check the electrical systems and water pump, all things are costly on an alfa ;)
