nope. i was asked to be a moderator because of my knowledge & maybe my post count which was just over 10k 2yrs after i came to this site. i most likely have the highest post count on this site & most likely the quickest time to become an addict at about 4 months.
He has a high post count because he found out if you stir a cesspool, it not only stinks but all the big pieces float to the top....
Back in the day I stirred the waters so much that Doctor Shrink had agents trolling my thread, and then according to Vurbal a group of us went after them like a "pack of wild dogs."
Sophocles, i tell all my customers to always do a R.T.F.M.D & they ask me what it means so i tell them & they laugh about it. not 1 has got angry about it.
Yes but do you tell them before or after they have a problem? I would find it funny if I was told to do a "R.T.F.M.D" while walking out of the door with a new item, but if I had a problem and returned it for assistance I might not find it quite as funny. LOL Now we all remember what an even tempered and good-natured person Praetor was. ;-)

Aside: I think that it was 10 years ago, about now, that I joined the forums looking for answers to some questions that I had. I found them straight away, too. Life is good.

When Praetor moved on from AD, it was to help start another forum (assisting a friend)which he eventually pulled me into (www.computerforum.com). Praetor always was more into computers than anything else so it seemed a logical leap for him. He was well respected and quite prolific on the forum, but he was also there in an administrative capacity so perhaps he still is. The last post that I could find made by him on the forum was posted in 08/15/2009. I had or perhaps still have his email if he's kept it up. We communicated a few times through email but it's been a while and I haven't heard from him in quite a few years. GrandpaBW "It's good that you mellowed out so much over the years."
