If your still getting the 'Danny Phantom' logo then you haven't updated your card correctly. You should be using the ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds file to update the card from a DS. After sucessfully updating your card you should be getting the 'Alex Rider - Stormrider' logo when used in a DSi.
Make sure your DS is running of the mains or fully charged before updating. Put the ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds file on the root of the card, put the Acekard in your DS lite and you should see the update file with your games. Press 'A' to load the update and then press the 'START' button to perform the update. You should then see 'Updating, DO NOT turn off DS' and a progress %. When finished it should say 'Update is done, reboot DS.

Here's a usefull link to setting up the Acekard.

There are two files , choose the one for DS Lite as you got the DS Lite .

If it said 'Update is done, reboot DS' after you ran the update file then it should be OK. Can't see anything wrong with the steps you've done.

Here is a link to the Acekard firmware update that I used: http://www.mediafire.com/?i5iacikw9nbpei5
Download and extract folder then copy the ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds file onto your SD card and run the update on a DS Lite.

You must use the ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds file even though you are using a DS Lite to perform the update.

Glad to here it worked, the update you were using must have been the update for the 1.4DSi firmware and not the 1.4.1 update.
