my ds 3d firmware get update to ver. 4.0.0-7u and my r4 gold will not work and not i can not play all my games can someone help me thank you.
if r4 gold have 3DS 4.0.07 Upgrade Firmware,You need to update the R4isdhc-silver card by Nintendo host, which is lower than 3DS 4.0.07, like NDSL, NDSI 1.42, NDSI 1.44. After that, the r4 gold card can be used on 3DS 4.0.07.
ok where do i go to get step by step insteuctions on how to do that i am so new to all this and on my card it show wifi r4 v1.4.3 3ds v2.1.3
i realy dont know exactly what kind of card this is but when i put it in my ds 3d it tells me that it is called the spiderwick chronicles sierra entertainment, inc and when i select it all i get is a black screen and it tells me this an error has occured press and hold the power button to turn the system off please refer the operations manual for details.so i have tried to upgrade the firmware for the card but i keep getting the same error what am i doing wrong . thank you for all the help.

Hi, are you sure your card can work on the3DS latest firmware? i have checked the official site you left, that card is a bad card and can not work on 3DS console, so you can not update it to support 3DS either. I have also face same kind of problem and to avoid such kind of problem you have to Update r4 gold card first and then update your 3DS firmware.
ive simiolar problem also.yesterday my kids 3ds worked great with WOOD R4 V1.47 and today he lost his sd card.i got him a new one i installed same version of WOOD but it dont work. it just says something like "a error occured,press adn hole power to turn system off" any ideas? the 3ds is 4.0.0-7E card is r4i gold 3ds revolution for ds (r4ids.cn)

thx for reply,Alex. yes the card is r3i gold from r4ids.cn. i formated the sd card with panasonic formater,loaded wood gold 1.47 but still same error. seems need to order a new one so the kid stops sulking. but i find it strange that the v.1.47 that i loaded from r3ids.cn contains only files "_rpg" (folder) and "_ds_menu.dat" the "woodr4.nds" is missing from the pack...or am i missing something?
Yeah, the latest wood firmware V1.47 only have the "_rpg" (folder) and "_ds_menu.dat". No "woodr4.nds", so it is not about the firmware problem. Have you ever updated your r4i gold 3ds card before you update your 3DS console. I think the problem occured because you haven't updated your cart. So please update your flashcart. Yeah,the wood R4 v1.47 has these two files "_rpg" and "_ds_menu.dat".So after updating to the latest firmware,it Still can't work?It came up saying an error or something else?
