    Nintendo Lite ds fault?

    Hi,

I seem to have a fault with my sons ds that I cannot find an answer for.

When i turn the ds lite on the green light stays on but there seems to be no power to the ds or put another way the screens don't turn on.

We started having intermmitant problems about two months ago where it would come on and then freeze mid game. This developed into coming on now and again after a few attempts of turning off and on. Now its comes on very rarely. I have used another battery from another ds and the same thing happens (my battery works ok in another ds), so i believe its not a battery fault.

    Would appreciate your answers.

    Thanks

    1)Are you using a flashcart?
2)Does the same thing happen when no cartridge is installed in slot 1 or slot 2?

It could very well be that the logic board is shot.

If the power light comes on green then the logic board senses a fully charged battery.

Beyond that, if it doesn't boot, it's more than likely that something else in the processor logic that's gone bad.
