    my sons ds will not go past system setting every time we turn it on it askes you adjust system settings i put user name in colour date time birthday settings then it say's you must restart system i turn off then on the same again does anyone no how to fix this thanks .

    sounds like the ram on the motherboard not working

    Could be something wrong with the battery as well. When you take out the battery it makes you do the system settings.
