thanks for any help in advance guys. got a couple of ds real cards for the kids ds's. get the same problem with both micro sd cards on both my laptop and main pc. wot is happening is when i plug the micro card into the usb adaptor the pc/laptop picks it up and is able to access it for about a minute. then after the minute it wont access it no more ??? card also seems to get very hot very quickly ? is this normal ?? sounds silly but tried wiggling it in the socket but that dont help either !! got to leave it a few hours then it will pick it up again but only for a very short time, then back to square 1 again ?? help !!
No Dont use the adapter supplied, it is very poor quality and has probably destroyed the SD cards. Get a new card reader (the sandisk ones are very small and very reliable) and try again, however I suspect that the SD cards have been fried!
