    Is it possible to change the software version on a DSi.
    I have one with V1.4 on it but unable to get a R4i working because no software available. I was thinking of installing V1.3.
    Does anyone know if this will work????

    Can't be done - Nintendo are not fools, there is no downgrade option, this was what they wanted to happen.

    The R4 is a bad buy, buy an AceKard, M3i Zero or EZFlash Vi and these can be upgraded.
