Hi all just bought my daughter a dsi for xmas and ordered a r4i revolution card which firmware should i download for it so it will work as i dont want to get wrong one and block card. cheers Glen
hi GBX_lee thanks for help but next prob is i downloaded the latest kernel from r4i-sdhc.com and(1.30b) copied files to r4i card/sd card plus a game to test it. plugged it into dsi and switched on but when i select games a menu symbol comes on top screen and nothing else happens what have i done wrong? also when i go into system settings on dsi it says running 1.4e in bottom corner might this have something to do with it? many thanks in advance and please help as my daughter is really doing my head in to get me to sort this cheers Glen
First please make sure the firmware is unzipped to the root of the microSD . Second , make sure you got the right firmware . Visit their download section and read carefully . http://r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp The firmware of the r4i-sdhc marked with 1.4 or 1.41 is different with others . Almost forgot , if your cart is not marked with 1.4 or 1.41 , it won't work on your dsi since it's on 1.4e .
thanks for advice but done all u have said the cart is marked V1.4.1 have downloaded english version of kernel from r4i-sdhc.com unzipped onto pc and copied to formated sd card. i've watched tutorials on web and done everything the same but when i put cart in the dsi and switch on/select game a white screen comes up with a micro sd card symbol and the word menu? under it. have tried downoading and installing it several times now and nothing changes. the cart was shipped from china will that make any difference? cheers
