hi,i have dsi thats 6 monyhs old with r4i card working perfect but i tried to play the same r4i card in my daughters dsi which she got 4 christmas but it wont let me play it,it says sumthin about an error,have nintendo done sumthing to latest dsi to stop r4i working or is there different software for dsi a few days old??,i would be very grateful for sum help with this
DSi was released with 1.2, updated to 1.3 these two had no card protection so worked correctly 1.4 - blocked flashcarts, new kernal software had to be released, the carts now work - however most R4i cards cannot be updated so update your DSi you will have to buy a new cart. If you buy a new cart buy one that can be updated (M3iZero, Acecard2i, EZ Flash Vi)
