Just got a DSTTi from a friends, not sure if it arrives DOA( dead on arrival) , or he did not check(fake checker) the card before loading kernel v1.17 which killed the the card? Is there such tool to restore DSTTi similar to DSTT fake recovery?

Thanks, thought i already tried this it says not compatible, will try again, note that i have the NDSTTi which is for DSi? Been searching but most forum is for DSTT.
