    Is there a Game for DS that somewhat resembles Guitar Hero but doesnt need a guitar grip?

    Somewhat resembles Guitar Hero in what way?

    The uniqueness of Guitar hero is that it required the grip controller.

    I was just thinking of a Game that is a music Game but doesnt require a Grip...

    Well there are several rhythm games-

    Rhythm Heaven
    Osu Tatakae Ouendan 1 and 2
    Elite Beat Agents
    Taiko no Tatsujin
    Daigasso Band Brothers

    They are all (except for Elite Beat Agents) have Japanese-themed music to them so if that's not what you are looking for then I'm not sure what else there is.
