how can you update your firware 1.4

    Hi this is my first post: can anyone help!!! I just bought a R4i card the one in the red box when I put it into my sons DSI it is looking to upgarde my firmware, does anyone know how to do this, can the firm ware be upgraded onto the R4i Card & then onto the DSI, it's just that this is his Christmas present & I'm having no joy on google/utube etc.

    Hey,

    The process to set up a card is pretty simple, once you know were to get everything you need. I found a video on youtube that walks you through the steps (after they talk about a loading screen freeze error)

    Thanks GringoSam,

    but what I'm trying to do is upgrade the firmware on my sons DSi to 1.4j I have looked in Utube but all videos are from different countries & I have not got a clue how to do it. I was just hoping that I could load the firmware onto the micro sd & then upload the firmware onto the the DSi. I have the R4i card the one in the red box
