I just bought 2 new NDSI and I would like to buy cards for them, but I don't know how to check their sw, if it is 1.4, 1.41 or something else, please help. Thanks in advance,
Hi i use R4i sdhc 1.4 in the red box it works on all ds consoles and the site update their firmware regularly.
Racheless, does it work with NDSI 1.41? if yes, how to know which one, is there only one R4isdhc 1.4 in red box, and what is the their site? if you can't post the site please mail it to me. BTW, how the DSI get updated? I am asking to avoid it.
go to ''System Settings'' and than on the upper screen you see the version . As for which flashcart to choose , avoid any flashcart with R4 in their name . Acekard 2i and Supercard DSTwo are the best choice . When you enter the "shop" , a menu would pop and ask if you want to update , just choose no.

Acekard 2i works with all kinds of firmware including 1.4U . However You need to upgrade the acekard 2i to work with v1.4U , here is a tutorial . http://www.acekard.com/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=5269&extra=page=1 NOTE: DSi consoles already on v1.4 cannot perform the upgrade. You'd better borrow a NDS Lite/fat. Or you just go with Supercard DSTwo . You can update the console via wifi .
