First off I want to apologize if I am re-posting some other poor saps post. All right here is my problem. I just bought my first ds cart a m3real. So I drop system files onto the cart and plug her in and alls I get is an emblem of a sad sd card with the message "menu?" So I replace the system files almost two dozen times with different versions and none of them work. So I took a look at my cart and there is a number above the gold contacts. m3-dsreal-bp3e Im starting to wonder if I got ripped off with a fake or what. If I pull the chip out of the casing (which is easy to do) There is a date stamped on the chip. 2008-11-07 I need to know if I need to get a refund or if there is a set of system files that I can use that will get this P.O.C. (Piece Of Crap) to work. All comments are welcome, even if your just going to flame in my topic.
1. Use the Panasonic formatter to reformat your microSD card: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/d..._formatter.html 2. Grab the latest M3 firmware M3Sakura
What does your filesystem look like on the SD? Because you only get that message if it can properly read the SD but can't find the menu files. You should have 2 folders in the root directory: NDS and SYSTEM. The first contains your DS roms, and the second will have 200+ assorted small files that make up the system menu.
Not only have I reformated my SD card numerouse times to both fat and fat32. My directory is only in a system folder.
The sad face does not look like an M3 but a clone. Check the box it came in does it say www.m3adapter.com, ANYTHING else and it is a clone. I suspect it says adaptese or something else similar, if it does then I am sorry to say you have been conned, you can only use the clone firmware.
