So my mom got me this Nintendo ds from America but the night after it doesn't charge any more. When i plug it in it doesn't charge and i tried every electrical socket in the house. But when i put it in the orange light flashes for a second then it turns off.
    EXTRA DETAILS:
    1) I live in south east asia in bangladesh if if the charger is not compatable.
    2) my battery is dead
    3)I havent droped it once

that happened to me also. What the problem is that the charger itself is dead. Best thing to do is either get back to them and ask them to send you a new charger (If its still under warantee) meaning ring nintendo and tell them about it or fastest way is to go on Ebay and buy a charger for it.... I got one for about $15 dollars..... and this was like over 2 years ago, so.... might be less now.

what makes me confused though about your question is that you also mention its not complatible.... so are you using a power converter to make it work because the watts might be different from america and where u are.... so plugging it in with out a power converter might have fried your charger or even your DS.
