nds turn off

    my son have a nds lite .when he close the lid the nds turn off.
    any idea

    Turn off or "sleep"?

    The NDS/NDSL has a magnetic switch which is triggered by the speaker when the cover is closed.

    but when he opens it back up
    it should turn back on should'nt it?
