Need help/advice dsi xl and dsi both dead

I have a dsi xl and a dsi. neither one of them power up. the charging port doesnt work on either. but if i put a charged battery in either them it boots up and works fine i just cant charge them. im looking for either a battery charging dock. or some advice on a repair. nintendo wants 80$ to repair each plus shipping. not sure what i should do. any ideas? thank you

Buy a battery charging dock can not solve the problem because you can not take it with you all the time, i would suggest either find a repair shop or send them to nintendo to do it.
