everyone has to remember why this machine being made first of all its not made for the adult gamer its made for little kids they took the 3d out because the damage it causes too young kid eyes and they got rid of the clam shell design because of massive amount of DS that have been broken by little kids because of the design and you can see from the design its mainly for kids to keep in their backpacks I know I use to let my little 5 year old daughter play with my 3d XL but she's come so close to breaking that thing apart I stop letting her play games on it but as soon as this one comes out I'm going to buy for her since it doesn't look like she's going to be able to break very easily remember everyone this ugly machine is meant for kids not for us
