My sons DS is washed by mistake. My wife not knowing better after removal from washer turned it on. Now after I left for few days to completely dry and remove any moisture left, DS turns on with this message on the screen: 0000FE00 Is it gone for good or it can be fixed and if so how can I fix it? Its dead, I googled the error code and every one that had received that error code said they had to ether send it in to nintendo, or get a new one.
You can reset the system to see whether can solve the problem or not, if not, you can contact the nintendo customer service for help.
Try to reset the system,hold down every button while the system is on except the D-Pad and power buttons,otherwise if the problem continues,you'll likely need to send in your system for repair.
