My R4 is currently running 1.45, 3DS 5.0 but for some reason i can't update to 1.73b I have been trying for about a week now but can't seem to get it to work, i have formatted the memory card and copied all the files over from the update but when I boot the R4 card up and go to upgrade there isn't an option to. Any help would be appreciated!
this is a normal problem, many r4i sdhc 3ds cards can not be updated to the latest version, as their official site says, only a few certain card can use the latest firmware to update the card, your card is not one of them. so currenly you can only buy a new card which can support the latest 3ds firmware, recommend you get the r4i gold 3ds card.
